Chicks are coming!

In the past few weeks we have been busy preparing for the chicks arrival.

1. The solar battery was replaced as the old one was 2 years old and they only last that long. Also new bulbs were replaced in the finished rooms and new wiring bulbs were put in the recently plastered room.

2. Supplies were purchased such as cleaning supplies, drinkers, overalls and aprons made, rubber gloves, gum boots, face masks and more

3. New papyrus fencing was purchased and installed. This time with more care placed on supporting structures. We REALLY NEED metal fencing for long term sustainability.

4. Then finally on June 28th in the afternoon our chicks arrived healthy and strong!

Please help us feed these baby chicks for the next 3+ months.
